Pushing the AGREE button now. I know sometimes when something goes mainstream, the professional geek can be tempted to abandoned it. But Silence is a straight-up horror IMO. The score alone is enough to make you go turn on the light.

Where I get confused is when I watch films like Se7en. I wanna call it horror, but it just doesn't grab me the same way a true horror film would. Don't get me wrong, it's a damn fine movie, I just don't know if I should put it in the horror section of my film collection or not.

I think it's just as much horror as Silence of the Lambs. Especially the part with "sloth" in the bed and whatnot.
