Not sure about anyone making an appearance in the Captain America, the timelines don't mesh, I believe he was frozen in ice for a while(the more modern take, think it was suspended animation in the original comics) so they could semi-realistically bring him into the modern age for a modern avengers. They may have to do this to make it work out.
