They have already sent me 2 new systems. The first lasted a week, and this one has been going for a little over a month. The one I initially bought lasted almost a year. I'm on my third 360 right now and so far they've all screwed up. I've tried to get them to give me a black one but they won't. This is fucking ridiculous. I don't think I'll be buying anything Microsoft releases for a LONG time. Speaking of Microsoft products, a friend of mine bought a Zune player and it's a piece of shit too. The Zune software "which is much like itunes" is probably the worst software of its kind, the FM transmitter for your car is THE WORST FM TRANSMITTER EVER MADE, and putting videos on the Zune player is almost impossible because it doesn't recognize any video format except .wmv. Microsoft is just as bad as Sony. Don't get what I said twisted up or anything, they will replace your broken 360, but the problem is the replacement systems are garbage too. You'll be constantly shipping an Xbox 360 back and forth for replacement or repairs. You'd think that instead of spending all this money on shipping broken consoles back and forth they'd just upgrade you to the elite system and cut their losses. The problem I'm having is not my fault, everything I own is pampered and taken extremely good care of. Just for example, I drive a 7 year old vehicle that doesn't have a scratch on it, and I've had the same dvd player since dvds were new technology, so this Xbox problem isn't from abuse or anything. They are just made poorly and they're subject to hardware failure. I am beyond pissed off with this entire Xbox 360 situation, and I'm not the only one. Internet message boards are full of people with the exact same problem I'm having. They want you to believe the problem has been fixed when in fact it's no better at all. Some of the people from the call center are on a first name basis with me at this point. I don't come to horrorspeak to bitch about this problem. I'm warning you guys not to spend your money on this shit. In a month or so I'll be coming into a substantial bit of money so I think I'll just upgrade to PC.
