I would agree with dokturchud, don't name the characters after the sins. That is too blatant. Let their actions speak who they are or what they represent.
Length is important. I have read the page per minute estimate in many places, reiterated here by dokturchud.
Keep polishing what you got, you are definitely on the right track.
