Followed this post from AICN. Be warned of spoilers in the article... it gave a warning, but I was reading so fast that I got spoiled. Some folks had decent things to say about part 3. I have no opinion at the moment as I have only seen about the first 10 minutes of that one.

I own all of the RE films, so I'll see new ones when/if they're released. The series hasn't been very good, but they're not the worst zombie movies out there. I actually like the 3rd one...

It'll be interesting to see what they do with this one. I'm hoping they'll steer the series in a new direction and try to make RE4 closer to the actual games. I thought the third one wasn't too bad myself but lord knows where they could take it. There's something about an army of Alices marching to Tokyo to kill someone who's hiding in a bunker from zombies and trying to find a cure that doesn't quite seem like movie magic.
