Went to two different CD Plus locations (right accross from eachother) picked up:

Swung on over to HMV (God I love that place) and picked up:
-The Mario Bava Collection Volume One
-Army of Darkness (Boring-Ass Universal edition, but I wanted it on DVD)
-Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978): 2-Disc Collector's Edition
-Shogun Assasins 2: Lightning Swords OF Death
-Day of the Dead: 2-Disc Collector's Edition (To replace the copy my friend ruined)

Went to Wal-Mart, grabbed myself a copy of the 20th anniversary edition of Robocop, then went over to my friend's video store, where I bought:

And out of kindness and a shared love for David Lynch, he gave me, free of charge, the documentary I Don't Know Jack, a documentary chronicling Eraserhead's star, Jack Nance.

Received something in the mail on Friday. I ordered it from amazon a week and a bit ago. A film that I have not seen in over five years. A film that forever opened my eyes to the possibilities of the horror film. A film that my father felt neccissary to destroy, leaving me with five-and-something itch that I can now scratch. Lucio Fulci's The Beyond.
It is not often that I am in the position where I can afford to buy movies, let alone order them, and obtain films like this. I made the (long overdue) effort and I ordered it, as well as pre-ordered my copy of the From Beyond DVD, which comes out in a couple of days.
