I recently bought the 30th anniversary edition. Is this the same one your talking about? I wouldn't mind having that doc and book...

Nice. Haven't seen Red Eye yet. The Devil's Rejects is soooooo good. That reminds me. I need to pick up Rob's latest album, Educated Horses. Looks good although I've read that it's going to be little different style from his previous albums. Not sure if I'll like it but, meh, we'll see....
Stopped by The Wherehouse yesterday and couldn't resist picking up some goodies. bought used Matango, Chopping Mall, One Dark Night, They Live, and Boogeymen: The Killer Compilation. I got Boogeymen for free in a sale they were having and watched it last night. Meh, alright... I'll admit it definitely got me interested in seeing The Dentist, The Ugly, and rewatching The Guardian, which I haven't seen in ages.

Saw Bad Taste Texas Chainsaw Massacre Next Generation - possibly one of THE single worse pieces of cinematic tripe I have ever had the misfortune to waste good money on (and that's saying something)

We could not agree with you more, and by we I speak for the entire forum. Good buys for Saw and Bad Taste. I love those movies, Peter Jackson's old movies kick the crap outta Lord of the Rings. I don't care who disagrees with me... I'm right... get over it.
Anyway, I assure you Fright_Fiend, Mr. Zombie's new stuff is almost weird how much he's changed. I saw the music video for... uhhh... it had Horse's in it... and a bunch of hot 17 and up cheering at him. It was much more cheery. It was weird.

I still need to pick up TCM 3 and 4. Haven't seen part 3 yet, and I agree, part 4 is awful, but I gotta have 'em all. I really love Jackson's earlier work. Bad Taste and Dead Alive are two films I can watch again and again. Never cared much for Lord of the Rings and haven't watched King Kong yet. Looks like too much CGI for my tastes and I don't know if I can last for 3 hours.... Someday I'll see it though...

I picked this album up yesterday. I'll admit that it is a different style, but with repeated listenings, I'm starting to dig it. I read in the latest issue of Rue Morgue that it was inspired by his childhood. His family had a traveling carnival and that's where he grew up. He mentions that educated horses was a ride/show with trained horses. Good article and it sheds a lot of light on things.

I first learned about The Dead Next Door from the Caretaker's vault. Finally got to see this when it was released on DVD a while back and loved it. The gore is most superb. If this is your first viewing, I think you're really going to enjoy it. Now I feel like watching it again . Nice one on the Ed Wood boxed set. I still need to pick that up...
Recently I picked up Fiend Without A Face.
