Man Bites Dog is a Criterion DVD, so it looks pretty good. I copied this off the website.
New digital transfer, enhanced for widescreen televisions
1993 video interview with the filmmakers
No C4 for Daniel-Daniel, a student short by the filmmakers
Stills gallery
Theatrical trailer
New and improved English subtitle translation
Optimal image quality: RSDL dual-layer edition
The film is a single disc, so there's not as much as you'll find on a double disc set...but it's still great to see this movie on DVD.

Hey Drauch, You seem like you like the hills have eyes. I saw this double disc DVD for 19.99 at Wal-mart, good deal? Worth buying? I also bought the new (special edition) Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Mass Edition) at Sam Goody for $11.99! It had the BEST picture quality I have ever seen for this film and recommend it to ALL!

Here's the Specs
Disc One: • Widescreen presentation (1.85:1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs • Audio commentary by writer/director Wes Craven and producer Peter Locke
Disc Two: • Looking Back On THE HILLS HAVE EYES: An all-new documentary featuring interviews with Craven, Locke, actors Michael Berryman, Dee Wallace, Janus Blythe, Robert Houston and Susan Lanier and director of photography Eric Saarinen • The Directors: The Films of Wes Craven: A career retrospective featuring interviews with Craven and actors Courteney Cox Arquette, David Arquette, Adrienne Barbeau, Neve Campbell, Robert Englund, Mitch Pileggi, Bill Pullman, Meryl Streep, Kristy Swanson and Ray Wise • Alternate ending • Theatrical trailers • TV spots • Behind-the-scenes photos • Posters & advertising art • Original storyboard art • Wes Craven bio • DVD-ROM: Original screenplay • DVD-ROM: Screen savers
On the UK DVD instead of the Directors Episode there is the Documentery The American Nightmare. I think if you have multi regional DVD player that converts PAL and NTSC I would recommend getting the UK DVD.
$20 is about the best I have seen for this movie as far as stores are concerned I am fairly sure I could get a better deal online.

brain_eater. Yes, it is a great deal. If you haven't seen the movie, definitely get it. In my opinion it is Craven's Best. Followed by Last House on the Left, NOES.

Are these really the cast that are in the film? If so, that is a great all star cast.

That's not the cast from a specific film; the interviews were taken from people who have appeared in Craven's films through the years.
