I really liked The Crazies. I think it's underrated. It's nothing really good, but I thought it was pretty darned good.

I really like The Crazies, also. It's pretty much the same movie as Night of the Living Dead, just with homicidal maniacs instead of zombies, but if you're a fan of Romero I think you'll like it.
What I really want to see on dvd is "Martin"...

"Requiem" is superb stuff. Play it loud (great soundtrack). One of the harshest and dark films I have seen. Excellent cinema.
Talking of which...Excellent cinema is of course the way to describe early John Water's, and included in my new DVD haul is........
The double release of "Polyester" (a film that for the life of me I can remember almost nothing about) and the truly warped and quite simply superb "Desperate Living". Looking forward to those Water's commentaries as well.
"Schlock:The Secret history of American Cinema". A look at Friedman, Corman, Harry Novak, Doris Wishman etc etc, with some groovy extras.
"Insatiable" - Marilyn Chanbers 70's hardcore classic! Those days when it was okay and hip to go for a fancy meal with your date/Wife then pop on over to the local pit and check out some porn in your dinner suit.
"Debbis Does Dallas" - See above!
