Glad you got around to seeing this one, Howler. I loved it. And you resurrecting this thread makes me want to see it again real soon.

Seeing Tom Hardy ripped up here makes you wonder how he'll look as Bane.
Isn't Bane huge? Like 7ft tall or something? Wears a mask? Doesn't talk? If that's accurate, I don't think it'll matter who play's Bane. But after watching Bronson, I have a lot of respect for the guy as an actor and hope his talents aren't wasted in the role.
Actually Bane speaks regularly in the comics. He's one of Batman's most intelligent villains aside from being one of the largest. It'll be interesting to see how he'll pull it off being behind a mask that covers the bottom half of his face.

Forgot to mention that I did check this out, a while ago, but I wound up hating it. It just wasn't violent like I thought it would be, the story wasn't really entertaining, and it seemed like they were trying to be funny with some of the stuff they did and it just didn't work. Although I don't doubt he could kick my ass, Bronson seems rather nonthreatening for someone who is supposed to be "Britain's most dangerous prisoner".

Bummer you didn't like it gothbat. As for Bronson being "Britain's most dangerous prisoner", I think he probably was as far as the guards were concerned.

I too found it to be a lot less violent than i expected. But at least it was interesting, and funny. I mean, that retard who just gets down at the boogie, flailing those arms like there's no tomorrow. and then a doped up stumbling bronson chokes sam raimi to death...what's not to love?
I thought the ending was kind of shitty, or lack thereof?
but all in all i gotta give it props for it's originality.

"Interesting" is probably the word I would use to best sum up Bronson in a word.
