Decent early 80's slasher about a group of sorority sisters who try to cover up the accidental murder of their bitchy house mother. Murders ensue and bodies pile up, with a neat little twist towards the conclusion.
This is no Halloween or Friday the 13th, but it's enjoyable none the less. House on Sorority Row was remade in 2009 under the name Sorority Row. I haven't see the remake, and not really interested in it to tell you the truth. But this the original is definitely worth a look if you are an 80's slasher fan.

It's certainly above average for slasher movies. There are a few very well done sequences and nice camerawork in it, also a creepy killer and the storyline has some interesting twists and turns. That cane the killer uses was a really cool and unusual murder weapon as well... But man, those chicks are some of the dumbest people I've ever seen put to film. That annoyed the crap out of me, but I've also seen it done worse in other slasher flicks.
