Mark - Friday the 13th: Part 2

We hardly knew thee...
Mark was a gentle, fun loving, caring man who loved sports and the outdoors and never let his disability get in the way of his life. This was never more evident when he volunteered as a camp counselor in the restructuring and reopening of a campsite near the now infamous camp Crystal Lake; also known around the area as camp blood.
Mark was a handsome young man with a wonderful sense of humor, and a little swagger in his crippled step who had no problem with the ladies even though he was practically dead from the waist down. He worked hard on his upper body and was an avid fan of arm wrestling, maintaining an undefeated record against the "normies". His skills did not shine however in the early days of portable video games.

And he never made "vroom vroom" sounds while riding next to joggers.

Unfortunately for Mark, his life came to a tragic end on a dark and stormy night on FRIDAY THE 13TH when psycho-killer, and cult legend Jason Voorhees decided that Mark's face was an excellent place to keep his machete from getting wet. Made all the more tragic by the fact that he was about to "get some".

It was also unfortunate for Mark that the camp was known for putting long flights of stairs in the most inopportune of places.

Your life was cut far too short on this rollercoster (no pun intended) called life. May your soul rest in peace brother.
**WARNING**
Extremely graphic and insensitive raw footage of Mark's tragic death!

Great topic idea. A definite great kill from the F13's. Always loved the way he rolls down the stairs. Talk about adding insult to injury.

Friday the 13th: part 2 has always been one of my favorite slasher films, as well as films in the series. I think it has something to do with all the hapless victims who get slaughtered. And as I wrote poor Mark's obituary I realized that this death is surely one of the highlight kills of the franchise.

I agree. Part 2 is my fave of the series. Great overall slasher. Mark being in a wheelchair makes the kills so much more brutal too.

plus the fact that he was poonani bound. I mean this might be Jason's harshest timing on a kill as well.

On another note, this actor Tom McBride is the first Jason victim to pass away in real life. An interesting little fact. So RIP Tom McBride, your life will forever be immortalized in us horror fans as your lifeless body tumbles down a flight of stairs, with that machete wedged neatly in your face.

Yeah, Jason usually lets the kids ring each other's bell at least once before he hacks them. I think he llikes to watch. Psycho AND perv.

"The Wheelchair kill with unfitting music." Go on, do it, it's only 18 secs long. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRHo8DltEEo
