I've heard good things. Have any of you guys watched it? What did you think?

My son and some of his buddies saw it and they all said it was pretty boring. Can't say I'll be in a rush to see it.

It being a little on the slow side is the only complaint I've heard. However, I have heard it from several people...

Nothing in the Eli trailer really spoke to me, unlike the trailer for The Road, which seems like a much more suspenseful undertaking.

"eli" looks pretty cool to me. Im most intrigued to see Denzel playing what looks ike his grimiest and least clean cut looking character to date. But based on feedback from here and reviews I have read, I will probably wait to see this through Netflix.

I like Denzel projects, just haven't gotten excited for this one. Caught part of The Bone Collector on cable a couple of nights ago with he and Angelina. That was quite good.

I really enjoyed Book of Eli. It was a very pro christian movie (unusual for Hollywood). That may put some off but I liked it. Not the best film ever but still worth my time.

Jaws! Nice to see your conical snout around once more. Glad to hear Eli was a good film, if not great. Something about the previews just seemed a bit tired to me. And I used to like Gary Oldman alot, but I find him hit or miss since FFCs Dracula. However his Commissioner Gordon roles have rocked in the first two Batman films by Nolan.

Thanks Edgar Allen. I try to stop by once in awhile but I have two children now and when I get a break from them I am usually watching movies. But Like I said I try to at least keep up a little and read some of the posts here.

Is it just me or does this film look like it was made to look and feel like Fallout 3?

I defintely get that vibe as well from the trailers I've seen.

Saw this a couple weeks ago; definitely a well made movie. I only wish it was longer to provide some more depth to the characters and story as I felt it ended too soon; especially with the focus they gave to being wary of those who eat humans yet really didn't discuss why.
