Has anyone seen this ?
I was rumaging around in the attic the other day when I stumbled across all my old VHS tapes. I plucked out Video Dead and gave it another viewing. What a laugh.
Two kids move into a street called ..wait for it...Shadey Lane. The boy finds an old TV in his basement which constantly plays a movie titled ZOMBIE BLOOD NIGHTMARE. Hows that for a name.
Of course we know the zombies can get out through the screen as we have witnessed this in the opening. But this time the zombies get out and go hanging out in the nearby forest.
Then on in they attack the neighbours. And kill the local poodle named Chocolate.
As you can see the film doesnt take itself seriously. People get stuffed in washing machines. One zombie gets an iron smashed into its skull and one even wanders around in a wedding dress.
We get some good gore and the makeup is suprisingly good for the low budget and who can not love a film that has a zombie with a chainsaw.
Good fun and worth digging up one if you see it but just don't expect a serious ride.

Trying to look for it now....might be a hard thing to do lol Sounds like a good 80's cheese zombie movie that I'd probably like...
and plus I do have a nasty fetish for poodles names chocolat..

I remember seeing this when I was younger and being terrified by it. I saw it a couple of years later and found out that it was actually a bit silly.
Now I totally want to see it again.

Been about 20 years since I last saw this, but I remember THE VIDEO DEAD was an absolute piece of shit.
I friggin' loved it.

I've seen it, but don't remember a thing about it. I was probably stoned and drunk at the time. Glad i don't do that anymore.
