Well, I'm sitting here in front of the TV trying to finish this terrible movie called It's alive. A story about new parents that give birth to a ...demon-ish baby. The second the baby is born, it kills....well...all of the medical staff, then the mother finds the baby eating diffrent sorts of little animals. The mother knows about it, covers it up.....It's not well done at all, the characters are terrible!!! It's just fucking ridiculous, stay away from this movie, it BLOWS!

I knew the remake would be crap. Firstly due to it being bumped straight to the small screen. And secondly the Original and its pathetic sequels are the biggest piles of shit ever. And Larry Cohen is one of the most overatted filmakers there is.

I like the original. I saw it in it's original theatrical run and for the time it was pretty scary. Now, not so. I have no interest in seeing this remake. I will someday, just not soon.

I remember liking the original, but was pretty young when I saw it. Tastes do change over time. Someday I'm planning on re-watching it.
I've always imagined Larry Cohen to be one of us. I haven't liked everything he's done, but when you go through his extensive catalog, one can't helped but be intrigued by his projects.

I used a cap from this movie in October. I couldn't even make it through the whole movie. I fell asleep during it and never got back to it. It was terrible. The mother is very, very unlikeable.

Same!!!!! I couldnt get threw it...I got to where the baby ...fucking kills everyone.... and ends up in a garbage can...it's bad, waaayyyy bad.

laughed hard when I saw this on the wall at blockbuster. Here's to hoping that they end up revisiting ISLAND OF THE ALIVE! I'm sure that's what we've all been waiting for.
