Just curious to see if anyone's picked up Grindhouse's release of this fulci classic. I pre-ordered it from amazon and it's fucking spectacular. Not only is the movie even better than I had hoped for, but the features are remarkable. The real gem of the bonus features disc are the very extensive interviews with the maestro himself. For those of us who never got to meet him, it's a cool way to gain a more personal understanding of this artist, and to quote Patrick Bateman "And I stress the word: ARTIST" All the other features are top notch. There's a crapload of Coming Attractions to look out for (Granted it'll [probably take a decade to get half of them released) including a very promising trailer for Mad Ron's Prevues From Hell. Definatley a good disc to pick up regardless of wether or not you owwn it already.

just bought CAT IN THE BRAIN, and SELF DESTRUCTION OF THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR. So I figure I'm in store for all sorts of craziness.

I haven't seen any of the special features yet, and I'm sure there's still a lot more in this film for me to digest, but at the moment I feel that it's...
Renegade, Original, Gore-tastic, and Raw! Nice brain twister of a film, and who wouldn't like watching Lucio Fulci play a director named Lucio Fulci who has directed one too many gore scenes for his sanity?
A definite recommendation for anyone with exotic tastes.
