Remember how at one point in your life as movie lovers you sat around with friends and had this insane concept of the "Best Movie Ever" and it starred every awesome actor on earth, and ended up with like 4 directors?
For me, that movie just came true.. Directed by Sly Stallone and starring.....
Sylvester Stallone Jason Statham Mickey Rourke Arnold Schwarzenegger Jet Li Dolph Lundgren Danny Trejo Eric Roberts Stone Cold Steve Austin Terry Crews
"A team of mercenaries head to South America on a mission to overthrow a dictator"
If you are not a man, I'd suggest staying away from this movie, as the force of sheer manliness will more than likely melt your face off with it's intensity.....
I'm going to camp for tickets now, even though it won't be out until some time next year....

I heard about this one a while ago and I was happy all day. Just thinking about it now will make the rest of the day go great.
It will be the most bad ass movie ever made.

This movie is set to blow my mind away. It looks to contain unparralled levels of awesomeness! With Stallone at the helm, i don't see this flick disapointing any old school action fan.

This movie is going to be so awesome that panties will moisten and remove themselves at the mention of it's name...

I don't know guys. I lost faith in Sly's movie making ability a long time ago. IMHO he hasn't done anything worth watching in at least 15 years. Watched Rocky Balboa the other day and I couldn't wait for it to be over.

I thought Rambo was okay...

I have found his careen choices to be hit and miss. The stuff I like the best in your 15 year window would include Demolition Man and Cop Land. Judge Dread and Driven were unfortunately misses. Relative to the Rocky series I thought Rocky Balboa was pretty good. The new Rambo left me a little cold, I just couldn't get into it. I guess the point would be I like Sly but would definitely not consider anything he does a slam dunk hit. However he is one of the big stars that I can say I look forward to every new release.

Haven't seen Rambo yet so I won't say anything about it. First Blood and FB2 were both good but pt 3 was a huge let down.
Demolition Man falls just outside the 15 year range. Still, I don't think it was that good. Stallone was ok but the real star of that was Snipes.
Cop Land. I'll give you this one but only because of the great cast that Stallone has around him.
Judge Dread should have been so much better. I personally believe this was ruined by Rob Schneider and a bad script.
Yeah his career has been big time hit and miss with a few more misses than hits.
Anyhoo,,, I'll keep my fingers crossed for this if only because of the cast he has assembled.

In all fairness taking a role that sounds good and the movie ending up being shit is not really his fault, I mean I'm not going to knock Hugh Jackman because of how badly some of the X-men movies turned out and.. then there is "Van Helsing" ...cringe....
Stallone picked up directing again in 2006 with "Rocky Balboa" and then with the new Rambo which I thought was just awesome violent goodness... to me that makes him 2 for 2 in directing which gives me plenty of faith in what's to come from him.
Now I know it's not his first time directing, He directed Staying Alive, Rocky III and ended his directing career in 1985 with Rocky IV.. but those were not bad either.. But being it had then been 20 years until he directed again, I think Rocky Balboa alone proved he really came a long way with his directing.

You made a couple of good points there Misfit. Sly in a nutshell is not too bad an actor, it's the movies he's been in that are suspect. As for his directing...
Paradise Alley- Not bad for a first timer.
Rocky II - Good
Rocky III - meh
Rocky IV - better than III but still not that good
Rocky Balboa - meh
Staying Alive - Hated it
Rambo - Haven't seen it
In the end it all boils down to personal taste Misfit. I have good taste and you have bad taste. lol Nah, just kidding Misfit, I have a lot of respect for you and your opinions.
I'll give Rambo a shot when it shows up on TV.

I say rush out to get Rambo, it had a good plot, good acting, awesome action the gore level would make Dead Alive proud.

I will give Rambo a shot. Just not right now. I'm broke and if I can scrape up any extra cash I'm going to see Drag Me to Hell.
