Anybody else have this? Opinions? My cable provider just started offering it. Trying to decide if it's worth the price of upgrading.

I get it, but it's not enough to make me happy, they took my monsters HD away and replaced it with Chiller.. (MHD was 1080i, uncut, unedited.. they even had movies in High def that are not even available on DVD at all ... miss them so much.

Around here, i still have no channel dedicated to horror even available. I dont understand...

Yeah, none of the horror channels are available here either.
There's always the AMAZING Shotime Beyond programming though. <--- sarcasm for the win...

I get it as part of my DirecTV package and its okay. I was really excited when I first got it, but then I realized they just play the same stuff over and over. They seem to have gotten better about that since the channel debuted, but there usually isn't a huge amount of stuff that I watch every month. They did air a pretty cool special about the old Universal horror movies recently. But I probably wouldn't pay any extra money for it if I had to.

Chiller is ok. They have a few good movies and they have Millennium on syndication , as well as Kolchak: The Night Stalker. Every so often you could find a hidden gem, a rare or forgoten movie that may not be on DVD. I probably wouldnt pay extra for it. It also depends on how extra. your choice bud.
Oh and I almost forgot, they also run Tales from the Darkside.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the opinions. Think I'll hold off for a bit. I'd like to have it, but doesn't seem like a great value.
