I have 1,3,4 on DVD and need pt.II to finish the collection. Anyone know if this is ever gonna be released (in the US) on DVD? I know it's available in that killer Pahntasm sphere set, but will pt.II ever have an actual release?

That would be particularly awesome. I'm a fan of the series but PHANTASM 2 is one of my all-time favs. I know they changed out the lead actor in this one, but doesn't matter, it still rocks.

I recently reviewd all four movies on my site. I saw part 2 on the chiller channel or scifi channel, I think it was chiller. I tivo'd it and bam ! Part two is probably my favorite because Reggie kicks so much ass in this one. What a shame that its not out on dvd. The sphere I heard is region two, so unless you have a special player...
Let's keep our fingers crossed cause we all need to complete our Phantasm collection on DVD. BTW I heard there was a part 5 in the works. Anyone know anything about this. Will it still be directed by Coscarelli??

There's been talk and rumors of this for a decade now. I know that for a long while Coscarelli was very positive about doing it, but the major snag seemed to be financing. His premise for a final film was much more global than what's been shown so far. To make the movie he wanted to film was more than he could find the money for. If we do eventually get another chapter, which seems more and more doubtful, it would likely be scaled back quite a bit from his original concept. Actually, I think part IV may have already been a concession to the direction he really wanted to go. Personally, I'd be okay with another film that was molded to the same scale of the previous ones.
Coscarelli and Reggie used to both do lots of conventions, would be great to eventually get to chat them up about any possible future. BTW welcome aboard ghoul.
