Wow, this is the 1st Jason unmasking I have seen that actually looks like the kid in the lake a la end of Friday part 1. All the ones in the other films where we get a peek at his face look similar only in the sense that he is all disfigured, but in reality do not even look similar to one another.
I like this Jason unmasked look

I like the look too. I wish the pic wasn't so fuzzy/blurry, but it's good enough for now.

I have to say I'm not that impressed. I don't know why. Maybe if I see him in action I'll like it better. Just not thrilled with it though. The most dissapointing thing I've seen so far IMO. The link below is for more pictures that are clearer. Hope it works.

I'm going to disagree with you rather harshly here. The pics you linked are incredible. This is far and away the creepiest Jason Voorhees ever. This upcoming F13th is shaping up nicely IMO.

The pictures look ok. But I noticed he has the mark of his mask edging around his face , apparently from wearing it for so long. Is that even possible ?

See thats what I was wondering. The rest of his head looks dirty, but under the mask his face looks clean, which I guess works and makes sense.

I'm reserving judgment until I can sit and watch the final product. I will tell you I do not have my hopes up. These stills do not really change my opinion one way or the other. However if DS is right about this new story being cannon, wedged somewhere between the first four movies, that gives me a little hope.

The things I've read lead me to believe that the film will consist of a retelling of Jason's origin, and it will lead into something that takes place during/in between the timeline of the first four films.
My reading comprehension isn't so bad, and I'm sure it sounds more complex than it actually is.
It can't possibly be worse than Jason Takes Manhattan, Jason Goes To Hell or Jason X...
