I don't know how many of you guys are comic book readers/collectors, but I was wondering if any of you are fans of Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead. IMO The Walking Dead is the end all/be all zombie story. It incorporates angles from nearly every noteworthy zombie tale that I can think of, but it adds several of it's own along the way.
I have the entire run of the comic in paperback and digital form, and I was wondering if anyone may want to check it out. It's a fantastic zombie story, and this is an opportunity for people who aren't in the know to check it out for themselves free of charge. I'm only offering this because I think a lot of you guys will be interested in the storyline, and start purchasing the TPB's or single issues after you've gotten that initial taste.
If several of you guys are interested I'll upload the first 6 or 7 issues so you can give them a read, but if this isn't met with any enthusiasm I'll strike the offer. It takes quite a bit of time to do this uploading stuff, and I don't want to do it if noone's going to enjoy my effort or consider purchasing the TPB's...

A friend of mine has pretty much the whole series so far, and has been gradually lending them to me for the past year or so. Right now I'm up to the part where...

The people from the other town, led by the now 1-armed, 1-eyed, penis-less psycho nutjob, are heading toward the prison with tanks and various other military vehicles. Not looking good for our protagonists

I'm not much of a comic guy, but I really got hooked on that particular series. Since it follows the characters over a longer period of time than any other "zombie apocalypse" fiction I've ever heard of, it manages to throw pretty much every "zombie survival" situation imaginable at us. And its nice to see how things keep progressing.

Well, I read the first issue tonight and really enjoyed it. Been a long time since I read a comic, but the zombie theme does it for me.
