SCARECROW (2002)
      #138826 - 09/17/08 07:25 PM

The soul of a young man killed in a violent accident enters a scarecrow and becomes a vengeance seeker. I saw this film a while ago and reviewed it but I had never seen the second part. Lets not talk too much about that one. It has Tony Todd and he couldnt save the picture from reeking. I have read several reviews and comments on "SCARECROW SLAYER" and nobody likes it.

This first one, simply called "SCARECROW" is fun to watch and has some cool kills. Make sure you get the (2002) because there are alot of scarecrow movies out there. Can be confusing

Stay away from "SCARECROW SLAYER" unless your a glutton for punishment and love bad horror movies, like me lol

I think this is an earlier discussion about the same film here, as well as some other scarecrow inspired cinema. Personally, I liked the 1981 made-for-TV Dark Night of the Scarecrow.

Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday."

Took what I was going to say almost word for word, I have a soft spot for the old movie, I've seen a few newer movies that try a similar plot but they are all pretty bad.. I need to see DNOTS again, I've not seen it since I was a kid, and I only remember the beginning (I'm betting that is because it only came on late and night and I'm sure I feel asleep halfway through)
