Just got back from the theater seeing this movie with my buddy. Honestly i have no complaints really. It was a solid horror movie that deserves a much wider release than what it got. The effects were good and the blood flowed freely just as i had hoped. And at times I was completely in love with the director's camera work. Even had a decent fight scene in it. I recommend anyone who can see it to do so. It played round me at a second run theater where i only payed a buck.

I think we have it playing somewhere down here in New Orleans, I just got to figure out where, cause I want to catch this flick, I thought it wasn't even coming out.

It's rare to find a modern horror film to be genuinely scary, but I think MMT fit the bill nicely. My only complaint is that the way the ending was presented, if you haven't read the short story you'll be scratching your head saying wtf?
Too bad about the limited release to dollar theaters. MMT deserved a better fate than this.

It's about a two hour drive for me. Might be worth it, but I just don't generally have that much free time in my schedule, with the exception of late at night. However, I do have a work trip coming up that might make a viewing possible. Wow, the last horror movie I can recall seeing in the theater was 30 DAYS OF NIGHT.
