Sorry for making another thread about this movie, but I'm far too lazy to dig the old one up.
I honestly can't believe that I'm about to say this, but Zombie Strippers was a nice surprise. When I first read about it here on horrorspeak I immediately brushed it aside without a second thought. That was a mistake, because I really liked the movie. The jokes were cheesy as hell, the special effects are gloriously awful and the ladies "including Jenna" look incredible. I think a lot of you guys will enjoy it, and I hope some of you share your thoughts.

I watched this movie the other day and it was... tolerable. I found that there was way too much filler with the dancing. I know some of you will think that I'm crazy to be complaining about that but it just kept going on and on and on and on.... if I wanted something like that I'd watch Orgy of the Dead.
Other than that the movie had some funny scenes. Given the chance however, I don't think that I would watch it again.

Did Netflix give me the right info?? It's on Blu Ray before DVD. It said that the DVD would be out Oct.28. I thought these things came out in pairs.
Anyway I loved everything I have heard about this movie and plan on buying it blindly.....what a rush !!! Seriously, the title alone makes my mouth water !
- Im still saving up for my hidef tv. No hidef, means no blu ray... hopefuly this christmas ...Oh, just rambling.

You know, I don't think I'd be willing to drop 30 or 40 dollars on a blu-ray of this movie. IMO Blu-Ray is for top shelf entertainment, and even though it's a fun movie Zombie Strippers ain't exactly top shelf.
I'm still waiting for the Ultimate Edition of Dawn Of The Dead to hit Blu-Ray. The dvd set is second to none, but that's a Blu-Ray collection that I'd gladly drop a hundred dollars on.

I think you might have to spend extra for blu ray of any movie in the near future, As I hear, Blu Ray will replace DVD as DVD replaced VHS. So when they stop maing DVD... This is what I think will happen, if I'm wrong then let me know. The local Best Buy stores are allready expanding their Blu Ray section and minimizing the DVD section.
But not everybody has hi-def yet so I seriously am getting confused now on what will happen.

It's the goal, but first it has to overtake DVD... most people just are not willing to make the leap, especially when we are now 3 generations in and they still don't have a final market ready product on the player side except the PS3. it was a clusterfuck and it deserves a shallow grave. With everything else going DD, Netflix just a month away from launching it's On Demand Service in HD, Blu-Ray has a lot of ground to make up if it's going to solidify the market, and most people don't consider the less than strong difference between Blu-Ray and a good upscaled DVD to be enough to warrant the headaches of jumping onboard a not yet final product.
