So I've spent the last two days cleaning out my basement (which has been a suck job BTW) and came across a few boxes of old paperbacks of mine, some read, some not. Lots of little treasures in there. Found Out of the Night by Patrick Whalen, which is about a pair of creepy brothers running a mortuary. It's been so long since I've read this alot of the details have faded away. But I remember enjoying this at the time and it reminding me quite a bit of Phantasm.
Anyone else out there is familiar with this author? I think his most successful offering was entitled Monastery.

Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday."
