Oh...my...god.
Anybody else see it yet? I must say this is a rare recent movie I've seen that is truly scary.

Not yet, but I keep hearing good things about it. I did sneak a peek at a teaser for it and read the synopsis for it. Certainly looks like a nasty little tale. Apparently the gore is pretty intense, and this is the second review that made a point to say the film is actually scary.

This movie is like High Tension times 10! Exquisite gore. What it lacks in plot and character development, it makes up times ten in sheer blood and guts. Wow!

I'm still waiting on Netflix. Still says long wait. If it's that popular maybe they should order some more copies...

Saw it a while ago. I thought it was pretty good, tho it loses some of it's suspense and creepiness as it progresses (but replaces it with some nasty gore, so it's all good I guess ).

I still gotta buy this! I borrowed it from someone not too long ago and was really impressed by it, it's at the top of the list of both things to buy and things to re-watch but I've been too lazy to go and pick up a copy of my own. Glad to see that the US release has a French audio with English subtitles option, I hate knowingly watching a movie in any language other than the original language. It's probably common knowledge by now but don't rent this one at Blockbuster! I heard the copy they got was shortened by something like 7 minutes. Then again, who rents from Blockbuster these days anyway...

I watched it On Demand, and it was pretty gory. I can't imagine that it was cut at all...

I just re-watched that movie, and I noticed it has an inside joke in the end credits directed at some French b-movie website I frequent called Nanarland. The credits thank a guy named "Mr Promizoulin".
The word "Promizoulin", which doesn't mean anything in French either, is taken from the extra-badly dubbed French version of Zombie Lake: during the scene where the villagers psych themselves up to go fight the zombies, one of the dubbing actors flubs his line and yells "Yeeeeeah, promizoulin" (which is meaningless gibberish), and they left it in. So the word has become an inside joke on the site, used to express excitement.
So, half-drunken rambling aside, its just cool to see that somewhat mainstream movies are now playing along with internet fans.
