that music was added by my cinematographer/editor, and will only appear in that trailer, for our film it kind of changes the mood, but as an individual piece, I believe it adds layers, and dimensions.
this is strictly out of pocket, do it yourself type stuff. Lots of networking, we're making our production Co. legit, and keeping the rights to all of our prints, and distributing them ourselves, if we ever get offered a better distribution deal, than we can do ourselves, we're interested.

Michael Andrews - Mad World. It's a really good song. It's been used in the film Donnie Darko, a commercial for the Xbox 360 game Gears Of War and now this trailer. I hate to even say this, but I hope you've got permission to use the song. If you don't, and the wrong people find out, they could probably have you trailer taken down.

yea, it wasn't my choice to put the song in there, something my editor/cinematographer did. We couldn't put it up on myspace, cause of the song. But youtube barely watches any kind of copyright shit.
either way, I'm personally collaborating with someone to do our own score, and I've also got independant bands, signed on to donate tracks to the movie. But I doubt I could get that song, lol.
To be honest, it starts getting old after a while, but damn I love how that video turned out.
