Hey Fedor, Im actually trying to save up money so I could buy an hd tv for christmas and my birthday (its dec21). I can't believe I dugg around and found this old post. I had actually had my eye on the same vizio from walmart. I read all of misfits reviews and it seems like a cool deal. I definately can't afford to spend more than that price. ...............
Let's hope i make it to december. I usually blow my cash on DVD's and eating out lol. Oh well...but I promised myself I won't go another year without high-definition. Take care, guys..

I've been thinking of picking up a humongous DLP tv. You can't beat the dlp technology for the price...
This is what I had in mind... http://www.crutchfield.com/app/product/item/main.aspx?i=30567A750&search=dlp+tv

My Advice to you all since it's the time of year that it is, hold out and go hit up the nearest best buy/Circuit City on Black Friday, just wake up mad early and stand in line, it is worth it.
I got my Sharp Aquos 46" 1080P flatscreen for $1,200 last year.. when you first arrive at such stores it's going to make you want to give up, you will most likely be behind like 100 people and all you can think is.. "Oh shit, 100 people, 15 TV's.. not going to get one"... then when the doors open they all go different ways and you end up like 10th in line for a TV.
If you are willing to get up early and deal with lines, it really is a great way to get a good deal if you can wait till late November.. we will be posting all of the deals before the day gets here so you know who has the best deals and what to look for.

The dlp technology is a wheel of led lights that are magnified/intensified with mirrors. It allows sharp pictures with vivid colors at a fraction of the price and weight of lcd or plasma. The tv I linked is gigantic, and it weighs less than 100 lbs.
DLP is a great alternative to plasma and lcd because it delivers comparable picture quality, and it's WAY cheaper. A plasma or lcd television of a comparable size to the Samsung I linked would easily cost $3,000 or more. DLP televisions don't have any screen burn either, which makes them perfect for gaming.
