This film is a delight. I saw it many, many years ago (decades) at a matinee, Recently I discovered it was also part of a cheapo 50 pack of 'chiller' movies. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000AOEQ4W/dvdaficionado
It's amazing how many scenes I had remembered upon watching it again. The transfer on this DVD was shit, cropped very poorly and the sound was piss poor but I am happy to have it none the less. I highly recommend this film.

I can almost garuntee you that if it was part of a 50 pack of movies with shitty quality its missing a few scenes. I used to have the rare Unicorn prerecord which was chopped a bit. I had the recent dvd release but never set down and compared them to see what was exactly missing. The scene I remember most was the the prank he pulled acting like he gouged his eyes out. It is a decent spanish movie most notably recognized because of the death of the director during the end of the filming of the movie...falling from the bell tower itself. Has anyone ever seen anything else by this director?

Great revenge movie, probably one of my favourites. Love the irony behind the hero driven insane by an insane asylum. Definatley love the oedipus-esque scene, and I loved the scene in which he covers his aunt with pharamones and wheels her out in the middle of a bunch of bee hives, classic. Great movie, should definatley be seeked out if you love revenge movies, as well as any fans of spanish cinema.

I have this 50 pack (that also includes Deep Red" and the eye scene is in there. I didn't care for the movie much, but I'll give it another shot.
