I just saw this movie a couple of days ago...and I'm completely lost. Was that teen-pop group Dessert behind all that was going on???? What the hell was going on?

I dont know if its really possible to tell what the hell was going on. Its a cool movie though. Very bizarro, and I like bizarro. Bizarro, I love you, I love you, bizarro.

Indeed.
Yes, this is, perhaps, my favorite Japanese horror film.I can't tell you what it all means though, as I don't know. Not sure I want to.

Suicide Club
Evil Dead 2
Flesh for the Beast
I own the last 2, but I do love Suicide Club... it's good, but Audition is better.

Just to warn you all the US DVD of Suicide Club is edit for gore content it is most notable during the subway suicide scene and the roof jump suicide.

As far as I know the only way to get the unedited version is to inport it from Asia

Here's my quick review:
Suicide Club
Asian horror with some disturbing scenes; like the opening sequence when a gang of teens join hands and jump in front of a subway train. The movie is quite original, but very uneven. And the truth behind the wave of suicides is really far fetched. Could have been so much better. Grade: 2 out of 5
