Army of Darkness vs. The Re-animater and others.

For those of us who are hardcore fans of the Evil Dead series, the comcis may come to be a bit of an overload (I looked about in search to see if anyone else posted about this, so I guess I'm the lucky bastard to). Army of Darkness has had two comic series prior to the ones I hope to put some light on. Ashes 2 Ashes where Ash apparently has awakend to early and must send himself back intime, and Shop till you drop (dead) in whitch he fights deadites in S-Mart to the death. Actually having to time jump all over the place.

Now to the ones in question.... The fallowing image should strike enough nightmares into some of you to know what exacty Ash must face.

Yes! You seen it right! Ash, of the Evil Dead series, up against H.P. Lovecraft's Herbert West in the ultiment battle. Think that alone is screwed up, take a look at this image to conjure up exaclty how extreme this battle gets.

Thats right! Ash gets to say, "Cthu-who?" at one point if I understand it right.

Thats not even the half of it! He goes on to fight Dracula, The Wolf Man, Frankenstien's Monster.... Teams up with Darkman at one point. Eventually ending up in a situation I still have to do a double take for.

Ashly J. Williams up against zombified versions of Marvel's Greatest Heros?!?! Seriously! Am I the only one over excited about this? I wanna hear what some of you gotta say, (casue frankly everyone else I talk to doesn't seem to care). ^.^ GOd I love the Evil Dead series.

I have the comics and I must say story wise Ashes to Ashes is the best. In Ash VS Re-Animator it goes a little cooky and while the limbs do fly off and blood splatters everywhere, I did not find myself so amused.

The worst is when ASH travels to the future though.

Look forward to more editions.

Ash vs. Zombie Marvel heroes?! This I definitely have to check out.

I don't know much about splatter comics and just started getting into them with the Dark Horse "The Mask" miniseries, so this one sounds like a great title to look out for.
