I Bury The Living (Albert Band)

Richard Boone is godly in this one, and so is the acting.
Gerald Fried did an awesome score for this one, he also did the score for Star Trek, Mission Impossible, and Gilligan's Island.
This is a very atmospheric film, with a very shocking and confusing ending.
The director Albert Band became really famous when he was the executive producer of Honey, I Shrunk The Kids.

No arguments here. I love this film. I agree, the score is probably one of the best aspects of the film. That and Richard Boone's little psychedellic freak out scene.
Though some may chukkle at the less than impressive set dessign (basically a room with a desk and a graveyard map), I think it actually lends to a claustrophobic setting that adds a lot to the film. I doubt it was intentional (i.e. zero budget) but they did well with what they had.

I have always enjoyed this film, atmospheric, moody and the music was a perfect fit.

The first time I ever saw this, it really confused me, I didn't know if:

SPOILERS

Boone was the killer, or that land owner.

So much wrong with that statement. I wish Chatty was still around...

Watched this the other day and I have to agree it's a good movie. The acting over all was average for a movie of this sort, but Richard Boone and Theodore Bikel both do a great job and carry the movie. Love the cemetery setting. Very creepy. A good score can greatly affect a movie and in this case, it adds much to the over all eerie atmosphere of the film. I really like the idea of the voodoo-ish type map. Recommended.

I wonder why this hasn't been remade yet? I can't believe I just said that.
