Well, uh, here's a review from the Unkown Movies! Of the cut version! Yeah...this guy didn't like Buio Omega. But no one invites that reviewer to parties anyway.

The goriest films i've seen up to date i Andreas Schnaas "Violent Shit" trilogy and another extremly low budget film called Unnaturally Born Killer, but i think the ultimate goreflick of all time is Das Komabrutale Duell (think it won some sort of nomination for the goriest film of alltime), which i haven't seen yet.

Got Buio Omega today from netflix, put it on my queue yesterday...talk about fast! That was the only one you guys stated that I haven't seen, so naturally I had to get it
It was friggin great! Not THE goriest, but definitely underrated and D'amato's best.

The gore comes off as fairly realistic though... Which, in comparision to some other gore movies is a definate plus.

Yeah, it definitely does. I was also thankful for the lack of comedy, I personally don't believe comedy and gore to be a good mixture. I prefer just pure, sadistic, depraved violence 
Good ending too...

Dead-Alive is pretty gory, so's Day of the Dead...any zombie movie, really..

No way not any zombie movie, theres so many zombie movie that lack so much gore, the one that come to mind for least goriest movie i have seen is "Shock Waves". People die in the water so Theres not even one ounce of blood in that movie.

Oh yeah, White Zombie, Revolt of the Zombies, Teenage Zombies, Night of the living Dead, I was a teenage Zombie (the original) and I walked with a Zombie are just ripe with gore.
