No place in particular, just generally. Many consider it a lesser Argento and the term "hit and miss" is common is reference to it. I think it's by far his most even and well moving film. Though his best will always be Tenebtre in my opinion.

I think Opera is one of Argento's best films. In fact I can't imagine where it missed. But I got to go with the sort of majority and say I think Suspiria will always be his best. Tenebre's awesome but it just doesn't have the right balance.

Well I can't lie, I'm not the biggest fan of Opera. I thought the use of random metal rock during every death scene was over the top and unnecessary. Having said that, he's what think from what I've seen.

Now that I've seen a watchable copy of Four Flies on Grey Velvet I think that it's a pretty good movie, one of his best. I change my original C+ to an A-. Good job Retrofilm, the only thing that could top this release would be a legit one...
