Zombie Strippers just got a wide release.
|
|
Just found out that the Robert Englund movie Zombie Strippers is going to get a genuine theatrical release instead of going straight to DVD. Apparently Sony's releasing it in thirteen cities, with most of the runs starting April 18th.
If you haven't heard about the movie, it's a gory comedy horror flick set in a nasty little strip joint. A zombie infestation spreads among the strippers, and they start feeding on their patrons. Lots of splatter, boobs, and certain man-parts being bitten off - it's a scene that, as a dude, makes me wince when I watch it.
For the record, I'm not a neutral party here - I was involved in the production. Got to watch Jenna Jameson do her stuff - which is pretty cool in person - and even chatted up Robert Englund a bit, which was even cooler. Anyway, if anybody has any questions about the movie or its release or what it's like to watch Jenna reading Nietzsche, I'll be around to answer them.

Heh - she's been known to do the occasional video. Tito's actually in the movie, by the way. He's got a cameo that's one of my favorite parts of the film. He's surprisingly funny!

I saw the trailer fo this movie, and to be honest I think it looks fun. I'll check it out eventually...
