Any racing game fans here?

Live for Speed
this is a definate must check out for anyone who games on PC. It's a completely free racing game with online play, they also have tools so you can design your own cars and give them custom paintjobs etc..
I love the free sim scene,it's amazing.
how good could a free game be??? this good....

I love racing games, and that one looks pretty nice.
You wouldn't happen to know anything about a new Test Drive game would ya Misfit?

Test Drive Unlimited is the last one I know of, it's a solid game from what I remember (came out in 2006).
No news on a newer one yet, but I'm sure one is in the works.

Yeah, I've got Test Drive Unlimited. I absolutely slaughtered that game. It would have been the perfect racing game had you been able to customize your vehicles. All it had was paint shops, and a few vehicles would look different after you upgraded them in the shop. The Need For Speed series and Forza Motorsport have spoiled me when it comes to customization in racing games...

LOVE RACING GAMES!!!!
Sadly, I don't game on PC. Been an avid Project Gotham Racer, Top 15 for PGR4 for some time, loved DIRT as well.
I'm more of a "SIM/ARCADE" Racer Mash Up kinda guy.
Can't wait for DIRT 2, or GRID.

You didn't think Dirt was too easy? I got 1st in every race on the game with the difficulty maxed on my first try. I take that back, I had to do the full run on Pike's Peak twice because I flew off the side of the mountain while scratching my nose the first time...

to date my favorite racing Sim is TOCA 3, I like the PGR series on 360 for a good arcadey game, and I'm dieing for EA to make a Need for Speed games that are modeled more after the older games and less in the street racing genre.
For upcoming games GRID is by far tops on my list

DiRT was pretty easy. I'm just a sucker for a badass off-road, or rally game. I was in love with RALLISPORT CHALLENGE 2, one bad ass game, and DiRT really reminded me of a Next-Gen RC2. I also played a lot online with DiRT, was one of the top racers for a while, the community was kind of small, and it was done in a time trial style, where no one else was on the track, but I thought it was fun, and intense none the less, I mean rally tracks are challenging enough.
as for GRID: That shit looks amazing, I was into the toca series, but didn't keep with them long, but this looks really up my alley.

wanted to let you guys know that game I posted called GRID, the demo is out now on both PC and Xbox 360..
and it's DAMNED good stuff.
