Pretty cool, definitely a rental in my opinion. I was really interested, just broke. A friend of mine rented it and we've been playing. The glaive is really cool, But I think the controls are in general not up to standard.
still a good game to play.

If you ask me the controls are fine. The controls are a mix between Resident Evil 4 and Gears of War. I think Dark Sector is a solid game...

about the controls, I still say "Decent" it's a bit clunky, or sluggish IMO. Plus the dive mechanic, as well as sprint just don't feel right to me.
I'm on level four, and haven't picked it up in a few days, been busy, but even in my spare time I haven't felt like it. I hate the melee combat, how it doesn't impact right, and the enemies in general, I believe this is the team that did pariah? or at least DIGITAL EXTREMES released it, and it feels the same to me, really interesting, great art design, a little ahead of it's time. But in the end it just doesn't all gel together for me.
Glad you enjoyed it, and perhaps I'll give it a second chance some time.

I thought Dark Sector was really good. It wasn't Gears Of War good, but good in it's own way. I finished it in about 6 hours or so...
