Currently the release is just set for Q3 2008, many expect it will be more like Q1 2009 so I'd say you have a bit of a wait.
Be thankful there is a lot to keep you busy once it comes in.. recently we saw Army of Two, Dark Sector, Vegas 2, and GTA IV is shipping in about 2 weeks...

Now that my 360 works properly I'll be able to play some of the games you mentioned. I personally can do without GTA though. I've never been a fan of the series. I'm not going to get all slanderous on the GTA series, but I will say that I don't care for it. Maybe this new one will be an exception to the rule, but I'm not anticipating it...

I actually agree with you on GTA, I do think the 4th looks like it is going to change a lot of the things I have to complain about, so I definately wanna give it a try,.
