I see that Dish Network now offers this channel as part of one of their line-ups. I see they do offer a lot of pretty decent films, including some Amicus and Hammer films....not nearly enough, it appears, but some! Anyway, I was curious if anyone has this channel and if so, are the films shown commerical free and unedited?

I have Dishnetwork and this channel, man it's fantastic, like any other movie channel they do repeat certain movies too much in a given day, but for the most part they have good variety between old and new. I don't think any horror fan would watch it without giggling like a school girl in pure joy of how awesome it is, now that Ive had this channel I can never do without it... Dish also has Kungfu HD along the same lines so it's a double dose of awesomeness.

Misfit I hate you. Not because you are a bad person or because I disagree with you. Hell, I happen to think you're alright "despite what that CanadianKiller guy thinks" and I almost always agree with you "I hate the PS3 too". I just hate you because you've got shit that I want. Is that so bad? Why can't I have some cool ass horror movie channel or a new fangled sattelite dish machine? Why can't I keep up with all the video game news and be able to form a convincing argument about why PCs are better than consoles? Why can't I be named after my favorite band "you should be ashamed of yourself for not sporting the crimson ghost by the way"? I think I need a good cry and some sleep. But seriously, I hate you. Suddenlink even stole my damn G4TV so I don't even get to see Olivia Munn anymore. I bet you look at her everyday, god I hate you so bad. Olivia Munn wouldn't give you the time of day. Now here I sit with the name of a shitty drummer who left the Misfits 7 years ago, bitter, well, bitter and a little hungry I guess. Oh look at me, I'm rambling again. Just you know this. There's me and there's you. You know stuff and so do I. No matter what you say or do good things will never come to you...

If it helps, I only got Dish Network because I wanted to be cheap and save a few bucks, and it was the cheapest thing around with 100 Channels for like $29.. but then they were like, Hey just $20 more and you get a lot of HD channels... so I was like Hell yea.. I just lucked out that one of those was Monsters HD..

Wanted to add
FUCK DISH NETWORK AND FUCK THEM STRAIGHT TO HELL!!!
to keep my Monsters HD when I moved I got locked into a 2 year contract with them, so today I come home and MonstersHD and Kungfu HD are both gone along with anything else I would even consider watching.. I call them and they are like "Yes but we replaced them with some great sports channels"
I'm going to pay the $220 to cancel them now.. may they rot in hell.

I knew all those curses and voodoo dolls would eventually pay off. Now you must suffer the loss of your precious Mosters HD. Just kidding man, I know Dish Network sucks. I used to have their service, but I cancelled it due to their shittiness.

Man, that sucks, big time, at a lack of a better word. What was the reason for taking Monsters and Kung Fu HD off their line-up? There seems to be so little worth actually watching on the tube, these days, then when someone finally gives film fans something to get excited about, you lose it.

When I called them they told me it was because they wante dto add more "Value" channels, in their mind that means more value to the customer but in reality it means the same thing buying "Value Packs" in the grocery store means.. getting cheaper crap for less money..
We got some crappy tennis channel, a bunch of other crap, the only positive is they added Animal Planet in HD which I do enjoy but it's no replacement for Monsters HD. Granted it had been slacking lately showing the same 2-3 crappy movies over and over again but I still loved every minute of it.. I was lucky enough to catch the Bruce Lee Documentary just before they pulled the plug on Kungfu.

So I called today to cancel Dish Network, and they asked me why..
I told them.. NO Monsters HD, No Pay..
So they informed me that they are currently working out a contract to get it back among about 100 other channels by January of 2009..
so I said.. ok I'll stay but if you don't deliver, Your children will die.

Chiller is just not cutting it.. They cut Monsters HD right as they were showing the entire subspecies series in HD..

Not a big fan of G4, I guess it's because with the internet you get news to instantly that everything they show seems to be like months old...
She is a fine woman that, that is for sure.
I used to have a gamespot channel, seems to have gone away as well.
