yes and yes. Buy the something weird dvd so you can here h.g. lewis's commentary. I think this is lewis's best film.

I prefer,,Wizard of Gore,,Blood Feast, and The Gore Gore Girls over this,,buts its ok,,No zombies in it though ???????

Ah one of my favorite HG Lewis films. It is part of the blood trilogy so you should see the other 2 films as well if you havent. They are Blood Feast and Color Me Blood Red. Like Kriz mentioned get the Something Wierd DVD.

I thought this one was OK. Had some great scenes like the barrel scene. Ouchies!! Overall though, lots of other H.G. Lewis films I prefer to this one. I guess the plot just wasn't interesting enough for me... I'm looking forward to 2001 maniacs. This is a remake correct? Robert Englund should be great as the psycho mayor.

This one has it all. Inventive killings, yokels and best of all, a theme song written by H.G, himself. Definitely a hoot.

Matt , I actually saw reviewed and own Zombie Holocaust. That movie is a trip. You can find the review on my website if your interested. And about two thousand Maniacs...I love that movie. The original is a masterpiece. You wont soon for get the phrase.."Your the guests of honor"
The remake, or sequel was really good too but not as good as the first. The 2nd one stars Robert Englund who plays Freedy Krueger in the Nightmare on elm street films.
