i think DVDfanatic9 has got it pretty much right. er....we have a similar interpretation. it explains it a little bit in the booklet that comes with the dvd. theres also an online review somewhere where the reviewer goes into a lot of detail on the themes and such. i dont know where it is though.

great film. so unusual. i havent gotten around to seein saovi's other directoral films.
