Saw the U.S. release of this and was pleasantly surprised. The set and scene selections were really great. I think Italian filmmakers excel at this, even if the movie sucks there's still a good chance it's filmed beautifully. But what I really enjoyed was the unique storyline used to tell a zombie story. I love zombie films, but as far as plot goes there's alot of rehashed stories out there. This movie was effective without using the standard Romero boilerplate as a crutch. SPOILERS.... Can someone help clarify a few points for me. Does Dellamorte start to go insane because of the bite from his girlfriend or simply due to the circumstances he's facing? What was the purpose/meaning of the "end of the world" scene? Are there major differences or edits between Dellamorte Dellamore and the Cemetery Man release? |
