Re: Looking for some Critique.

Live the dream man. I've attempted several screenplays over the years but have never completely finished one. I find that I'm not very good at writing big action packed sequences, everything I have written is small with only a few characters. I once got about 75 pages into a screenplay and it didn't satisfy me so I assumed it wouldn't satisfy anyone else either so I scrapped it. I wish I hadn't done that but it's in the past so what're ya gonna do? Another time I thought up this little zombie thing about 3 people living in a very small cabin in the middle of nowhere, it was set years into the outbreak and they were cut off from the rest of the world with no radio or any way of contacting anyone. Needless to say it was very boxed in and I ended it with a 3 way suicide scene. Only problem is that's it's only 37 pages long. I've actually been thinking of a re-write to extend it, maybe throw in some hunting or fishing and a few more zed head scenes. In my opinion stories like my little zombie experiment would be great for a first time director because you wouldn't be dealing with a lot of actors, sets and an unrealistic amount of money, the entire film would basically be atmosphere and a feeling of isolation, jealousy, sexual frustration and eventually madness. Plus you can't go wrong with the cabin in the woods scenario "Evil Dead anyone"?
