What's this talk about the movie never having been released on DVD, though? I personally own a cheap-ass, VHS-quality DVD that I bought in a reputable, non-black-market store. Its from Brentwood.
Brentwood releases can be "gray-market", which means they've probably slipped into public domain or no one's sure who the rights holder(s) are. That's been an issue with a lot of these movies. It takes a lot of effort and cash to track some of these down with all the years of haphazard releases.
My copy of Pieces is also from Brentwood. I have a few others from Brentwood as well, including Unhinged. I appreciate the information on their releases. I would rate my Brentwood DVDs copies as VHS quality as well, but very happy to happy to have them versus no DVD release at all, especially when it comes to Pieces. I watched it over Shocktoberfest because my last viewing was about 25 years ago.
