Close call, but I gotta go with Freddy. I was always more of a Freddy fan while growing up for whatever reason, and the original Nightmare On Elm Street is absolutely one my favorite horror movies of all time. But hey, I love them both, but Freddy just barely edges Jason out in the end (and at least they never tried to shoot Freddy into outer space ).
