Welcome to Hell of the Living Reviews

There is only one true rule of this forum and it will be stricly enforced.

If the review contains a plot revelation or spiler POST A SPOILER WARNING IN THE TITLE OF THE POST (after the films name eg.... FILM TITLE(SPOILERS) ). If the poster just forgets to posta spoiler warning I will go back and add one but I will only do this so much. If it becomes a problem that a certian indvidual poster keeps posting reviews that contain spoilers without the warnings they will be banned from the forum.

While there is no required format I am posting this to offer a few suggestions.

First film titles should always be in ALL CAPS.

Reviews should start off with the film title, the director, then cast, year released is optional but recomended.

(example:

FILM TITLE

DIRECTOR

CAST

YEAR RELEASED)

The title of the post is to always be the film title. If it is not I will change it. The title of the post should also be spelled correctly. If it is not I will fix it but only so much, if it becomes a recurring problem with a indvidual poster it could lead to the review being deleted. The reason for this is that someone who is searching the forum for reviews most likely will be spelling the title correctly.

Reviews with horrific grammar or spelling will be deleted (some mistakes will be accepted). I recomemd writing the review in a word proccesor and then cuting and pasting it here. Again nothing can be more aggrivating to read a review full of bad spelling and grammar. Plus it reflects bad upon the poster and makes them look like and idiot or sometimes just plain stupid.

Try to stay away from a ranking system. They are a cop out. If you review does not convey how you felt about the film than it is not a good review. (this is not a requirement, if you like using a ranking system go for it, this is just a suggestion)

Just because you post a review here does not mean CT will use them in the house. he like the rest of the board is using this as a reference and he maybe (and I stress maybe) might like someones review and writing style and contact them about using it (or writing something else) for the house. There are no promises, no guarentees. Do not email or PM CT or myself about our opinions of a review, we can read and will notice new reviews post and if we feel the need to comment on it we will. Just because it does not recieve a comment from one of us does not mean we didn't like, it just means we didn't feel like posting.

Sorry if some of what I am saying sounds a bit mean, that is not my intention. Rather I want to make things as easy as possible for those who choose to read the reviews posted.

Okay enjoy the forum
