Nice review K_Z. I'm afraid I did not appreciate the film nearly as much as you did, however it did have some redeeming qualities. The portrayal of being isolated out in the boonies with the hicks is effective and will make you want a shower way before the worms will. Some of the gore and efx moments really are fun. And I thought the ending was pretty solid. Nothing worse than giving up 90 minutes on a low-budget film and they run out of money before they finish, leaving you with some stupid ending. Oh, and I loved the hiding place they came up with for one of the survivors near the end, that was a nice touch.
