Yea, I've got quite a few more special edition's lying around the house. I recently went through a huge crazy period of my life that felt almost like a death/rebirth.

and I've pretty much started over most faculties of my life, including music, and dvd's. I've gone away with most of my stuff, and gone back to my roots, yet some roots are new. The list of special edition's I have listed, are the one's I've been working on, and have in good condition, and in my DVD cabinet.

I also am now using Special Editions, well let me rephrase that. I buy an "edition" of a DVD when I'm fairly certain it's the end all, be all of DVD releases for that particular film. And I view these DVD's as my FILM SCHOOL.

I credit that to Andrey Iskanov. In Rue Morgue he said, film school should be every film you see. And I just take that to hear with my special editions.

keep em comin' guys.

@ ZombiesOn45: Is the Battle Royale box set nice? I've watched the first movie a few times over the years and I really like it. I've never had the chance to see the sequel, but I'd like to. Would you recommend the box set to someone who's only watched the first movie?

Blue Velvet (Special Edition)
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (Pioneer DVD)
Evil Dead 2 (regular Anchor Bay DVD)
Army of Darkness (regular not-so-special Anchor Bay DVD, but it does have a special feature unlike Universal's)
RoboCop (Criterion Collection)
Videodrome (Criterion Collection)
Bad Taste (Limited Edition)
Pulp Fiction (Collector's Edition)
Reservoir Dogs (Special Edition)
Clerks (Collector's Edition)
Clerks (10th Anniversary Edition, a.k.a. "Clerks X")
The Dead Next Door (Anniversary DVD, I think)
Crumb (Special Edition, or something)
Wizards (First Timer DVD, meaning it got special features when first put out on DVD)

Yeah, I think that's it.

@DanielSavage
So far it's the only way I've seen Battle Royale available in the states in a non-bootleg form. It's a pretty good buy, the negative is that the special features have no english subtitles, so you're strictly getting the movies. The second movie is entertaining, but doesn't have the impact of the first.
