So, I'm watching Halloween 5 last night and it always creeps me out how awesome Danielle Harris is in her role of Jamie Lloyd. I've never seen a child actor play a "freak-out" part like that before. So, anyway, I'm looking her up on imdb, and I notice that she's going to play Annie in Rob Zombie's Halloween. Knowing this, I know I'm going to be constantly thinking about it during the whole movie. When they brought Jamie Lee Curtis back for H2O, I thought it made sense because she was at least playing the same character, but having an actor come back for a new role just doesn't sit right with me. Even if it scores Rob Zombie like a million omglolz points, I just can't dig it.
Anyway, back on topic...the mute screaming still freaks me out.

To be honest, after Halloween III: Season of the Witch, I don' think I ever watched another Halloween film completely (start to finish). I think I know who you are talking about though. Any of the Halloween sequels actually worth the watch?

I think so. But that may just be because this series is grandfathered into my brain from childhood memories.I personally think parts 4 and 5 are just as good as 1 and 2. But after that, you'll have to watch at your own peril.

I didn't really have a problem with Danielle Harris being in the new Halloween, since it was a remake and not a direct sequel. I never even would have known it was her if I hadn't read about it before seeing the movie.
And as a big Halloween fan, the only one I thought was really crappy was Ressurection (aka Halloween 8), though to this day I've still never seen Halloween 3.

The only reason to watch Halloween 3 is to make fun of it. It is really a silly movie.
