OK, so often I preach about going with PC gaming, if not for the unlimited mod support and value you get out of it, because it's usually light years ahead of consoles in the graphics department.
Until Crysis most people assumed the current consoles could match the PC for the most part, some are foolish enough to think Crysis can be done intact on a PS3.. then ATI came and kicked those people right in the balls..
As you may are may not know ATI has a kickass new video card set on the market, the 4850 and the 4870, which go for $150 and $250, these cards are beasts and an awesome value for the quality of graphics they produce.. now I will present you with this....

Right about now you are thinking, who the hell are the women and what they hell do they have to do with anything.. well those women are computer generated, and you might think impressive but I've seen this in hollywood before.. well yes you have, each frame of animation being rendered for hours and hours with supercomputers behind them to make it look like that.. this is real time on a new ATI card, this is ATI's new Cinema 2.0 technology, and some of the biggest game developers are all over it.. so expect to see some really amazing things in the not so distant future.

Well, the title of this thread was certainly fitting, Misfit . I think that first picture is the most impressive, I would have completely thought it was an actual living, breathing human being had I just seen it randomly.

haha, I was thinking the same thing. actually this technology is also aimed at the movie industry, so they can edit CGI movies on the fly..
I want to see the porn industry get ahold of this.. .. you could have shemales with 14 cocks reaming them all in a midget... and noone would know it was not real.. that's something I'd drink a beer and laugh my ass off too.

If they're computer rendered, why aren't they hotter?

"...you could have shemales with 14 cocks reaming them all in a midget..."
That's also the first thing that popped into my head when I began thinking of possible applications. Great minds think alike

Haha, because if they flawless you would stop to wonder if they were real or not. They just picked two girls around the office to volunteer to be scanned in.

Why would they make a CG girl with a lazy eye?

Amazing. The future is certainly here, folks.
And just think, THIS tech, just like every tech adavance to come along the pike, will be "outdated" in 10 -15 years. Not THATS scary!! (in a good way)
